This is a foodie blog - this is not a space where I will divulge my deepest, darkest secrets - because, really, you don't care about those. This is a place, though, where common interests can be shared. I love to write, to take photos and to eat. Through this blog, I will be able to combine all three of those passions, and I hope that you find something to enjoy!

Venetian Pizza at its Best
As young'ens with a limited budget, Erik and my train journey around Europe was filled with pizza, shawarma and cheap beer. We were in Venice for 3 days and had 5 pizzas. It was hard to go wrong when looking for a good pie, and here is a photo of a 5 euro meal that was beyond delicious. The tomato sauce and the cheese were of a quality that is unmatched, even in New York City. So fresh! So good! We grabbed our pizza to-go and walked a bit away from the tourists to find a little nook at the end of a street where we could sit on the steps and watch the happenings on the canal. Boats going by, the sun setting, and even a woman who took out a long sword-looking-thing to try to lure in her paper cup that had fallen in the canal, made our evenings special.
